Praise the Lord for Good Friends!
I've just finished my almost daily round of my friends' blogs. It was enlightening. Several of them directly challenged me spiritually. I feel like I was just at a church service (in the right way, Matt). And every time I was challenged to go to the Word. Those are real friends. I just experienced Proverbs 27:17.
One of the general things God has been teaching me over the last few weeks is the value of good friends. I'm inclined to withdraw when I'm struggling, but God is breaking me of that habit. His power is all I need for spiritual victory, but as a weak human the accountability and encouragement of other Christians is an immeasurable aid to opening myself to God's working.
So, thanks to all of you, blogging and unblogging, peers and authorities, local and removed, who are a spiritual encouragement to me. I pray God will use me to return the favor.
