How to Survive Macroeconomics

I got a Palm Tungsten E a few weeks ago. With my schedule rapidly filling and constantly changing, I thought it would help to be able to carry it with me. My ten-year old iMac didn't quite fit in my backpack, so I figured I should get something else. Some birthday money was all I needed to grab one off Ebay. Now, I'm addicted to it.
See, I have this problem. I can't sleep in class. I know what you're thinking. OK, I don't know what you're thinking, but I bet I can guess. Yes, I'm a nerd. I pay attention in classes and even sit up front. But I also have this irrational desire to have my professor hold my interest. At least slightly. Dr. Perdue teaching macroeconomics at 7:20 am doesn't exactly do the trick.
Enter the life-saving Palm. While Dr. P explains how to calculate Keyne's multiplier—for the seventh time—I'm building a hotel on St. James Place. During his review of the connection between the consumer price index and the gross domestic product, I'm making my packing list for my trip home to do a youth rally this weekend. I think you get the idea. So, if any of you freshmen are sitting in Old Testament Survey wondering how you're going to survive four more years, here's the key: pay attention. Do it long enough, and you'll learn how to distinguish between the important lectures and the unimportant. And then, when the time is right, you'll know where to find Ebay.

doesn't sound like that checks
At 8:11 AM,
it's so true, justin. learning the fluff from the important is vital. and having something to play with is the only way not to, well, die.
At 9:31 PM,
So the day we see justin jones sleeping in class is the day educational institutions will shrivel up and die. I'm sure that's atleast encouraging to some teachers to have the guarentee that they'll at least have one conscious student in their class. Sad, but encourageing nontheless.
At 10:47 PM,
Justin, you need to supress that irrational desire to have your professor hold your attention. Don't you realize where you attend college? By the way, this is Dale.
